Improve the organisation of laboratories by integrating control and production processes.

The LIMS has been known for more than 30 years as a major tool for operational management of laboratories : samples management, analyses allocation, resource management, traceability of operations, management of raw and calculated data, certificate of analysis…

Beyond the classical functions of computerized laboratory management, the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) software packages focus on a global management of Quality Control processes, from sample management to product compliance. When coupled with the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), the LIMS contributes to ensuring smoother control processes and optimizing the laboratory’s organisation.

Thanks to a widened functional scope, the LIMS can operate from a specific control request concerning material flow to product qualification (sales department, shipping department). Finally, the implementation of the LIMS into the company’s information system brings some interoperability which allows a great process optimization concerning both production and control.
